About the Role

Our client is seeking a visionary and highly experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join their executive team in Bradford . This is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing the company's day-to-day operations and ensuring the efficient and effective execution of business strategies. You will drive operational excellence, manage resources, and implement initiatives that foster growth and profitability. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a proven track record of success in senior operational leadership roles within the UK business landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company's long-term vision and goals.
• Oversee all aspects of daily operations, including production, supply chain, customer service, and administrative functions.
• Manage and optimize departmental budgets, resource allocation, and operational performance metrics.
• Lead, mentor, and develop senior operational leaders to build a high-performing team.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of experience in senior leadership roles, with at least 5 years as a COO or equivalent executive operational role.
• Demonstrated success in managing large-scale operations and P&L responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of business principles and management best practices.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
• Proven ability to drive operational efficiency and implement change initiatives.
• Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field is highly preferred.
