About the Role

Our client is seeking an accomplished and results-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee their business operations in Leeds . As a key member of the executive leadership team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration and operation of the company, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and the successful implementation of business strategies. This is a critical, on-site role requiring extensive leadership experience and a deep understanding of operational management within a growing enterprise. You will play a vital role in driving the company's operational excellence and overall success.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all operational aspects of the company, including production, supply chain, customer service, and IT infrastructure.
• Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company's long-term goals and objectives.
• Manage operational budgets, drive cost-efficiency, and ensure profitable growth.
• Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing operational teams across various departments.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational success and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.

Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive experience in operations management, with a significant portion in senior executive leadership roles (e.g., COO, VP of Operations).
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale operations and driving significant improvements in efficiency and profitability.
• Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Deep understanding of business functions such as HR, finance, IT, and supply chain management.
• Experience working in a dynamic and fast-paced business environment in Leeds .
• Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field; executive certifications are a plus.
