About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Assist lead practitioners in supervising and engaging children in activities.
• Help prepare and serve meals and snacks, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of play areas, equipment, and facilities.
• Support children's personal care needs, promoting independence and hygiene.
• Observe children's behaviour and report any concerns to senior staff.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Childcare Assistant role or volunteering with children is advantageous.
• A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Understanding of basic child safeguarding principles.
