Childcare Assistant

About the Role

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Childcare Assistant to support their team in Wolverhampton . You will assist in providing a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children, helping them to learn and develop through play and planned activities. This role is perfect for someone passionate about childcare, looking to build their career in an early years setting. You will work closely with experienced practitioners, contributing to the daily routines and activities that support children's growth and well-being, with potential for remote supervision of administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising and engaging children in play and learning activities.
• Support the implementation of the curriculum and daily routines.
• Ensure the safety, hygiene, and welfare of all children.
• Help prepare materials and maintain the cleanliness of the play areas.
• Communicate effectively with children, colleagues, and parents.

Requirements

• Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare or willingness to work towards one.
• Experience with children is desirable but not essential.
• A passion for working with children and supporting their development.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Understanding of safeguarding principles.
