About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Childcare Centre Supervisor to lead their team and ensure the smooth operation of their facility in Oxford . This role involves managing daily operations, overseeing staff performance, ensuring high standards of care and education, and fostering positive relationships with children, parents, and staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of childcare regulations, a passion for early years development, and excellent leadership skills to guide their team effectively in providing a nurturing environment for young children.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the childcare centre, ensuring compliance with all regulations and company policies.
• Manage and support the childcare staff, including scheduling, training, and performance reviews.
• Ensure the implementation of a high-quality curriculum and educational programmes.
• Maintain a safe, hygienic, and stimulating environment for all children.
• Develop and maintain strong communication channels with parents, addressing concerns and providing regular updates.
• Manage resources, supplies, and budgets efficiently for the centre.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare, such as a Level 3 or above.
• Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a childcare setting.
• Thorough knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and safeguarding procedures.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage staff effectively and foster a positive team culture.
• Strong organisational and administrative capabilities.
