About the Role

This role is focused on creating a stimulating and playful environment where children can explore, learn, and develop. You will work closely with other practitioners to support children's individual needs and ensure their safety and happiness. Key Responsibilities

• Engage children in a variety of creative play activities, both indoors and outdoors.
• Assist in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.
• Support children's social, emotional, and physical development through positive interactions.
• Help with daily routines such as feeding, napping, and personal care.
• Observe children's play and development, contributing to learning records.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of play areas and equipment.

Requirements

• A genuine passion for working with young children.
• Previous experience in a childcare setting is beneficial but not essential.
• Willingness to undertake relevant training and qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Childcare).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Must hold a valid enhanced DBS check or be willing to apply for one.
