About the Role

Our client, a registered childminder in Milton Keynes , is seeking a reliable and caring Childminder Assistant to support them in providing exceptional home-based childcare. This part-time role involves assisting with the daily care and activities of a small group of children, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment. You will help with meal preparation, educational play, outings, and maintaining a clean and organised setting. Key Responsibilities

• Assist the registered childminder with the supervision and care of children aged from birth to 10 years.
• Engage children in age-appropriate play, learning activities, and outings.
• Help with preparing healthy snacks and meals for the children.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised childcare environment.
• Support children's individual routines, including napping and toileting.

Requirements

• Experience working with children is desirable but not essential; a genuine passion for childcare is key.
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a small team and follow instructions.
