About the Role

Our client is looking for a nurturing and responsible individual to establish and run a successful childminding service in Stoke-on-Trent . This independent role involves providing high-quality, home-based childcare for a small group of children, creating a safe, stimulating, and family-like environment. You will have the autonomy to shape the children's daily experiences, fostering their development and well-being while building strong relationships with their families. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about childcare who wishes to work flexibly and independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, loving, and stimulating care for children in your own home, adhering to all regulatory standards.
• Plan and deliver a range of age-appropriate activities to support children's learning and development.
• Establish and maintain excellent communication with parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress.
• Manage the daily routines of the children, including mealtimes, naps, and playtime.
• Ensure all aspects of the service comply with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding requirements.

Requirements

• Must hold or be willing to gain a recognised childminding qualification (e.g.,CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Home-Based Childcare).
• Successfully pass an enhanced DBS check and relevant first aid certification.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of child development and safeguarding best practices.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• A genuine passion for working with children and providing exceptional childcare.
