About the Role

Our client is seeking a reliable and caring Childminder to provide high-quality childcare in their own home in Leeds . This flexible role involves looking after children of various ages, offering a safe, stimulating, and nurturing home-based environment. You will be responsible for planning engaging activities, ensuring children's developmental needs are met, and maintaining excellent communication with parents. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual passionate about childcare to operate independently while adhering to strict safeguarding and regulatory standards set by Ofsted, offering parents a trusted and convenient childcare solution in the West Yorkshire area.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, stimulating, and nurturing home-based environment for children.
• Plan and deliver a range of age-appropriate play-based activities that support children's learning and development.
• Ensure children's health, safety, and well-being are prioritized at all times, adhering to all regulatory requirements.
• Prepare healthy and nutritious meals and snacks for the children in your care.
• Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, activities, and development.
• Communicate effectively and build positive relationships with parents and guardians.

Requirements

• Must hold or be willing to obtain an Ofsted registration as a childminder.
• Relevant childcare qualifications (e.g., Cache Level 3) are highly desirable.
• Full Paediatric First Aid certification is mandatory.
• Previous experience working with children is essential.
• Excellent understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and the EYFS framework .
