About the Role

Our client is seeking a reliable and caring Childminder to provide exceptional care for children within a home-based setting in Manchester . This role involves creating a safe, fun, and stimulating environment where children can learn and grow. You will be responsible for daily routines, including meal preparation, engaging activities, and supporting children's individual needs and development. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of child development and a passion for nurturing young minds, working independently to offer flexible childcare solutions to families in the local area.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, secure, and stimulating home environment for children.
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children.
• Manage children's daily routines, including naps, playtime, and hygiene.
• Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding their child's well-being and progress.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant health, safety, and safeguarding regulations.

Requirements

• Relevant childcare qualifications and experience as a childminder.
• Registered with Ofsted (or willingness to register).
• First Aid certification (Paediatric).
• Excellent understanding of child development stages.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a home-based childcare setting effectively and professionally.
