Childminding Support Worker

About the Role

Our client, an established childminding agency in Derby , is looking for a dedicated Childminding Support Worker . In this role, you will assist registered childminders by providing cover during their leave, supporting with administrative tasks, and helping to ensure high standards of care are maintained across the network. This is a flexible position that offers the opportunity to work in various settings within the Derbyshire area, supporting childminders and ensuring children receive consistent, quality care. Key Responsibilities

• Provide temporary childcare cover for registered childminders.
• Assist childminders with daily routines and activities.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of children under your care.
• Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
• Support childminders in adhering to Ofsted standards and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and the agency.

Requirements

• Experience in a childcare setting (e.g., nursery, nanny, childminding).
• Knowledge of safeguarding children and child protection procedures.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to different environments and routines.
• Hold or be willing to obtain relevant childcare qualifications.
• Reliable and punctual with excellent organizational skills.
