Kettering | £38ph | Hybrid Working | 37 Hours Caritas Recruitment is looking for an experienced Children with Disabilities Social Worker to join Northamptonshire Children's Trust, based in Kettering. This is a specialist CWD role working with children and families across Child in Need, Child Protection and Children in Care. You'll be joining a service where you'll undertake statutory work with children with disabilities and their families, including assessments of need, care packages, short breaks and multi-disciplinary working.

The role

£38 per hour 37 hours per week Based in Kettering Hybrid working, with 3 days office based Specialist Children with Disabilities (CWD) service Child in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP) and Children in Care Undertaking assessments of need Care package and short-break work Multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working

What we're looking for

To be considered, you'll need:

Current Social Work England registration Previous Children with Disabilities experience At least 3 years' relevant post-qualifying experience, meeting the client's DfE requirements Strong experience within statutory children's social care Experience working across CIN, CP and/or Children in Care Confident assessment, safeguarding and risk management skills Ability to work effectively with children, families and multi-disciplinary professionalsIf you're an experienced CWD Social Worker looking for your next agency role in Northamptonshire, we'd like to hear from you.
