Civil Design Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented Civil Design Engineer to join their innovative team based in Wolverhampton . This role is centered on developing detailed engineering designs for a variety of infrastructure and development projects. You will apply your technical expertise to create solutions that are both functional and sustainable, working within a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities

• Produce detailed design drawings, calculations, and specifications for civil engineering works.
• Undertake site assessments and feasibility studies to inform design development.
• Collaborate with project teams, including architects, planners, and other engineers.
• Ensure designs comply with current building regulations, standards, and environmental legislation.
• Assist in the preparation of tender documents and contract administration.
• Utilize CAD and BIM software to create and modify designs efficiently.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in civil engineering design, preferably within a consultancy environment.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D , or similar design software.
• Knowledge of drainage design, S38/S278 agreements, and site development principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
