Civil Design Engineer

About the Role

Our client is looking for a talented Civil Design Engineer to join their team in Wolverhampton . This hybrid role provides an excellent platform to contribute to a range of civil engineering projects, balancing office-based collaboration with remote work flexibility. You will be responsible for producing detailed designs for infrastructure, including roads, drainage, and earthworks, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with regulations. Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed civil engineering designs for various projects, including site development, transportation, and utilities.
• Prepare drawings, specifications, calculations, and reports using industry-standard CAD and design software.
• Conduct technical reviews and ensure designs meet project requirements, codes, and standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, other engineering disciplines, and external stakeholders to ensure design integration.
• Assist in the preparation of tender documents and construction phase support.
• Undertake site visits as required to verify design conditions and monitor progress.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in civil engineering design.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design software.
• Good understanding of UK planning policies and building regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
