About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer specializing in site development and planning to join their team in Bristol . This role is integral to the successful preparation and execution of land development projects, encompassing residential, commercial, and industrial sites. You will be responsible for coordinating site layout, grading, drainage, and utility connections, ensuring compliance with all local planning regulations and engineering standards. This position requires a proactive individual who enjoys working on-site and collaborating closely with development teams, planners, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Design site layouts, grading plans, and earthwork calculations for land development projects.
• Develop stormwater management plans, including drainage and detention systems, adhering to environmental regulations.
• Coordinate utility connections (water, sewer, gas, electricity) and ensure compliance with service provider requirements.
• Prepare planning application documentation and liaise with local authorities and planning departments.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and resolve design-related issues.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in site development design, including grading, drainage, and utility coordination.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar design software.
• Knowledge of local planning policies and environmental regulations related to land development.
