Civil Engineer - Transportation Projects

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop highway alignments, junction improvements, traffic calming measures, and related transportation infrastructure.
• Prepare comprehensive design drawings, specifications, calculations, and reports using relevant software.
• Conduct site investigations, traffic surveys, and feasibility studies to inform project development.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant national and local highway standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Coordinate designs with other engineering disciplines, urban planners, and stakeholders to achieve integrated solutions.
• Assist in the tender process and provide technical support during the construction phase of projects.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the design of transportation infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in highway design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and KeySigns.
• Good knowledge of DMRB (Design Manual for Roads and Bridges) and other relevant standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
