About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Civil Engineering Project Manager to oversee a variety of infrastructure projects in and around Plymouth . This role is integral to ensuring the successful planning, execution, and delivery of essential civil engineering works, from initial design stages through to project completion. You will manage budgets, timelines, and project teams, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and engineering standards. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle for civil engineering projects , including roads, utilities, and site development.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope definition, scheduling, cost estimation, and resource allocation.
• Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards throughout project execution.
• Supervise and coordinate engineering teams, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Conduct regular site inspections, progress meetings, and quality control checks to maintain project standards.
• Manage client relationships and stakeholder communications, providing clear and timely project updates for Plymouth -based initiatives.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in the civil engineering field.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and materials.
• Experience managing projects involving infrastructure development, water management, or transportation.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and relevant engineering design tools.
