Key Responsibilities

• Undertake detailed design work for various civil infrastructure schemes, including drainage, highways, and earthworks.
• Ensure all designs adhere to relevant national and local authority standards and regulations.
• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including drawings, reports, and specifications.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and statutory bodies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct site surveys and inspections to inform design development and monitor construction quality.
• Contribute to the project planning and risk assessment processes.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Significant experience (5+ years) in civil infrastructure design.
• Proficiency in using CAD software and relevant hydraulic/structural design tools.
• Strong understanding of UK planning regulations and construction methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines effectively.
