Our client is seeking a proactive and organized Civil Project Engineer to join their established team in Reading . This role is crucial for overseeing the successful execution of various civil engineering projects within the Berkshire region, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will be the key interface between design teams, site operations, and clients, managing all aspects of project delivery. Key Responsibilities

Manage the planning, execution, and completion of civil engineering projects from inception to handover.
Coordinate with design engineers, contractors, and site teams to ensure seamless project progression.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement timely solutions.
Ensure all site activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and prepare regular progress reports for stakeholders.
Facilitate effective communication between all parties involved in the project, ensuring clear understanding of requirements and objectives.

Requirements

Degree in Civil Engineering or a related construction management discipline.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering project management or site engineering roles.
Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and site operations.
Proficiency in project management software and standard office applications.
Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced setting.
