This role focuses on managing and overseeing the execution of various civil engineering projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety standards. You will be a key liaison between site teams, designers, and clients, playing a crucial role in the successful delivery of infrastructure developments in the West Midlands region. Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day project activities, including planning, scheduling, and resource coordination.
- Oversee on-site construction activities, ensuring quality control and compliance with engineering standards.
- Monitor project progress against timelines and budgets, identifying and mitigating risks.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and the design team to resolve technical issues.
- Ensure strict adherence to health and safety protocols on all project sites.
- Prepare project documentation, including progress reports and site meeting minutes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer or in a similar site-based role within civil engineering.
- Familiarity with construction methodologies, site management, and project planning software.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and environmental best practices.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
