About the Role

This hands-on role is essential for ensuring the smooth execution of civil engineering works on construction sites, maintaining quality, safety, and adherence to design specifications. You will work closely with site managers, contractors, and design teams to resolve on-site challenges and ensure projects are delivered to a high standard. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day civil engineering works on construction sites.
- Ensure all site activities comply with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications, providing guidance to construction crews.
- Conduct quality control checks and report on progress, issues, and solutions to site management.
- Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and site personnel to ensure efficient workflow and coordination.
- Assist in the resolution of technical queries and design challenges that arise during construction.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related construction discipline.
- 1-3 years of experience in a site engineering or construction role.
- Understanding of construction methodologies and site practices.
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting civil engineering drawings and specifications.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety in construction environments.
- Good communication and organizational skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
