Claims Handler - Motor

About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and organized Claims Handler specializing in motor insurance to join their busy operation in Southampton . You will manage a caseload of motor insurance claims efficiently and effectively, from First Notification of Loss (FNOL) through to settlement. This role requires excellent administrative skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. Key Responsibilities

• Process and manage motor insurance claims accurately and efficiently.
• Conduct thorough investigations into claim circumstances, gathering necessary evidence.
• Communicate clearly and empathetically with policyholders, third parties, and repairers.
• Assess liability and calculate settlement amounts in line with policy terms.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all claims activity on the internal system.

Requirements

• Previous experience in handling motor insurance claims is highly desirable.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Good understanding of the claims process and relevant legislation.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in using claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
