The Best Connection is currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 (C+E) Steel Driver on behalf of a well-established transport operator. This is an excellent 12-week temp-to-perm opportunity for drivers with steel haulage experience who are looking for long-term, stable employment.

The Role

Delivering steel products nationwide Safely securing and transporting steel loads Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects Completing delivery paperwork accurately and efficiently Ensuring compliance with driver hours and road transport regulations Regular nights out required during the week

Requirements

Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card Digital Tachograph Card Previous steel haulage experience is essential Strong understanding of load security and safe loading practices Professional, reliable, and safety-conscious approach Maximum of 6 penalty points for minor offences (no DD, DR, or IN convictions)
