Key Responsibilities

• Operate Class 1 articulated vehicles for long-distance haulage.
• Safely load and unload goods, ensuring proper securing of cargo.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any defects.
• Adhere strictly to driving hours regulations and ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Deliver goods to customers and collection points efficiently and courteously.
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism and company representation on the road.

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 HGV license (Category C+E).
• Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) card.
• Digital Tachograph card.
• Proven experience driving Class 1 vehicles in a haulage context.
• Excellent driving skills and a strong understanding of road safety.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively on long routes throughout the UK .
