Monday to Friday Start times between 06:00-14:00 or 07:00-15:00

About the Role

The Best Connection is recruiting a Class 2 Driver position based in Leeds, primarily involving trunking between two warehouse locations situated less than a mile apart. This role is ideal for drivers seeking regular work with minimal long-distance driving.

Duties will include:

Trunking between warehouse locations Driving Class 2 vehicles as part of the client's transport operation Completing vehicle checks and relevant paperwork Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time

Pay Rates

£14.01 per hour Overtime after 39 hours: £21.02 per hour Sunday overtime after 39 hours: £28.02 per hour

Requirements

Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence Minimum 12 months Class 2 driving experience Valid CPC qualification Digital Tachograph Card Food Safety Level 2 qualification Good communication skills Reliable and punctual approach to work Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

Complete deliveries safely and professionally Follow all road transport legislation and company procedures Assist with loading and unloading where required Maintain a high standard of customer service Report any vehicle defects or issues promptly
