Class 2 Driver

Driver Hire Gatwick is currently recruiting Class 2 Drivers to work from our client’s Crawley depot, supporting a number of prestigious and well-established clients across the South of England. This opportunity is ideal for experienced Class 2 Drivers seeking ongoing, flexible work with excellent rates of pay and varied daily duties. Whether you're looking for regular shifts or a role that offers a different challenge every day, we want to hear from you.

The Role

• Delivering palletised freight across the South of England
• General haulage duties
• Start times between 07:00 and 08:00
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks in line with Health & Safety requirements
• Ensuring compliance with driver hours and road safety regulations
• Safe loading and unloading of goods

About You

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• No more than 6 penalty points (no major endorsements: CD, IN, DR or TT)
• Previous experience preferred but all competent Class 2 Drivers are welcome to apply
• Ability to operate vehicles safely and responsibly
• Strong understanding of load security procedures
• PPE required: Hi-Vis and Safety Boots
• Own transport required to travel to and from the depot
