About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and organized Cleaning Operations Supervisor to lead their cleaning team in Cardiff . This role involves overseeing daily cleaning schedules, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained across multiple facilities, and managing a team of cleaning staff. You will play a crucial part in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all users, ensuring that all cleaning operatives are adequately trained and equipped to perform their duties effectively. This position offers a blend of hands-on supervision and administrative responsibilities, requiring regular presence on-site combined with flexible remote management tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the work of cleaning staff, ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standards.
• Develop and implement efficient cleaning schedules and rotas for various operational areas.
• Conduct regular inspections to monitor the quality of cleaning and identify areas needing attention.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper usage.
• Train new cleaning staff on procedures, safety protocols, and the use of equipment.
• Address any cleaning-related issues or client concerns promptly and effectively.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within the cleaning or facilities management sector.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, health and safety regulations , and COSHH guidelines.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively both on-site and manage tasks remotely when required.
