About the Role

Our client, a premier cosmetic clinic in Oxford , is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Clinical Aesthetician & Laser Specialist . This role requires a deep understanding of advanced skincare treatments and laser technologies to provide cutting-edge aesthetic solutions for clients. You will perform detailed skin analysis, recommend personalized treatment plans, and expertly deliver a range of procedures including laser hair removal, skin rejuvenation, and treatments for various dermatological concerns. The ideal candidate is passionate about evidence-based aesthetic medicine, possesses excellent technical skills, and is dedicated to achieving outstanding client results in a professional and sophisticated clinic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough client consultations and skin assessments using diagnostic tools to identify concerns and recommend appropriate treatments.
• Perform advanced aesthetic procedures using various laser and light-based technologies (e.g., laser hair removal, IPL, fractional laser, radiofrequency).
• Administer a range of clinical facial treatments, chemical peels, and micro-needling sessions.
• Educate clients on pre- and post-treatment care, product recommendations, and long-term skincare strategies.
• Maintain meticulous client records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in aesthetic technology, treatments, and safety protocols through ongoing education.
• Ensure all equipment is maintained and calibrated correctly, adhering to strict safety and hygiene standards.

Requirements

• Professional qualification in Beauty Therapy (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) and specialized training/certification in laser and light-based treatments.
• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience as an Aesthetician and Laser Specialist.
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining various types of aesthetic lasers and energy-based devices.
• Strong knowledge of skin physiology, common skin conditions, and their treatment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client management skills.
• A commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the aesthetic field.
• Relevant certifications such as Core of Knowledge and LSO certification are highly desirable.
