About the Role
Our client is seeking a proficient Clinical Data Manager to join their research team, supporting activities in Nottingham and remotely. This crucial role ensures the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of clinical trial data, which is fundamental for regulatory submissions and informed decision-making in drug development. You will be responsible for database design, data validation, and query management, working closely with clinical operations, biostatistics, and regulatory affairs. This position offers a significant opportunity to contribute to the success of critical pharmaceutical research projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and manage clinical databases (eCRFs) using EDC systems.
- Develop data management plans (DMPs) and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Oversee data cleaning activities, including the generation and resolution of data queries.
- Ensure data consistency and accuracy in accordance with study protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to define data standards and validation checks.
- Prepare data for statistical analysis and database lock.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a life science, computer science, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical data management within the pharmaceutical or CRO industry .
- Proficiency with Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems (e.g., Medidata Rave, Oracle Clinical).
- Strong understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) , CDISC standards, and regulatory guidelines.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
