Clinical Research Associate (CRA)

About the Role

Our client seeks a dedicated Clinical Research Associate (CRA) to join their expanding clinical operations team, based in Glasgow . This role is essential for overseeing the successful execution of clinical trials, ensuring adherence to protocols, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for monitoring study sites, managing data integrity, and ensuring patient safety throughout the trial duration. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor clinical trial sites to ensure compliance with study protocols, GCP, and regulatory guidelines.
• Verify the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of clinical trial data.
• Manage site initiation, monitoring visits (interim and close-out), and site staff training.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of adverse events and protocol deviations.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the study sites and the clinical trial team.
• Maintain effective communication with investigators, site staff, and internal project teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a life science, nursing, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Clinical Research Associate or in a similar clinical trial monitoring role.
• Thorough understanding of GCP, ICH guidelines, and clinical trial processes.
• Experience with electronic data capture (EDC) systems and clinical trial management systems (CTMS).
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel to clinical trial sites as required.
