Clinical Research Associate (CRA)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced Clinical Research Associate (CRA) to join their dedicated clinical operations team in Manchester . In this vital role, you will be responsible for monitoring the progress of clinical trials at investigative sites, ensuring adherence to protocols, regulatory requirements, and good clinical practice (GCP). Your work will directly contribute to the integrity and success of clinical studies, ensuring the safety of participants and the validity of the data collected. This position requires extensive travel to clinical sites across the region and involves close collaboration with study coordinators, investigators, and regulatory authorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits in accordance with study protocols and regulatory guidelines.
• Ensure the accurate and timely collection, management, and reporting of clinical trial data.
• Verify the quality and integrity of data by reviewing source documents and case report forms (CRFs).
• Oversee compliance with protocol requirements, identify deviations, and implement corrective action plans.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the sponsor and the investigative sites, fostering strong working relationships.
• Train site staff on study procedures, regulatory requirements, and data collection processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a life science, nursing, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) or equivalent role.
• Thorough understanding of ICH-GCP guidelines and relevant regulatory requirements for clinical trials.
• Demonstrated experience in conducting site visits and monitoring clinical trial conduct.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel extensively to clinical sites as required by the role, based in Manchester .
