Clinical Research Associate (CRA)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and organised Clinical Research Associate (CRA) to join their dynamic clinical operations team based in Birmingham . In this critical role, you will be responsible for monitoring clinical trials to ensure adherence to protocols, regulations, and ethical standards. You will play a key part in the successful execution of studies, contributing to the advancement of new therapies. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits (initiation, monitoring, and close-out) to assess study conduct and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure accurate and timely data collection, verification, and source document review.
• Verify the qualification, training, and ongoing participation of clinical site staff.
• Act as a liaison between the sponsor and the investigational sites, addressing queries and resolving issues.
• Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and all applicable regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and present monitoring reports to the clinical trial manager and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a life science, nursing, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Clinical Research Associate or in a similar clinical trial monitoring role.
• Thorough understanding of GCP, ICH guidelines, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities for site staff engagement.
• Willingness to travel frequently to clinical trial sites across the West Midlands region and beyond.
