Clinical Research Associate (CRA)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and dedicated Clinical Research Associate (CRA) to join their expanding clinical operations team based in Sheffield . As a CRA, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the quality and integrity of clinical trials, conducting site visits to monitor study conduct, patient safety, and data accuracy. You will serve as the primary liaison between the clinical sites and the sponsor, playing a vital role in the successful execution of clinical research projects. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site initiation, interim monitoring, and close-out visits in accordance with protocol and regulatory requirements.
• Verify the accuracy, completeness, and validity of clinical trial data at investigational sites.
• Ensure adherence to the study protocol, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
• Identify and report any deviations from protocol or regulatory requirements and ensure timely resolution.
• Train site personnel on study procedures and ensure all necessary documentation is maintained.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with investigators, study coordinators, and site staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a life science, nursing, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Clinical Research Associate or in a similar clinical trial monitoring role.
• Thorough knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with source data verification (SDV) and site management.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel regularly to clinical sites in and around Sheffield and potentially further afield.
