Clinical Research Associate - Oncology

About the Role

Our client is actively recruiting a meticulous and experienced Clinical Research Associate to focus on oncology trials, based in or near Birmingham . This role is essential for ensuring the successful execution of clinical studies, adhering strictly to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and regulatory standards. You will play a crucial part in managing trial sites, monitoring data accuracy, and ensuring patient safety throughout the study lifecycle. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site initiation, routine monitoring, and close-out visits for clinical trial sites.
• Ensure compliance with study protocols, GCP , and all applicable regulatory requirements.
• Verify the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of clinical data through source data verification.
• Manage communication between investigators, site staff, and the internal project team.
• Identify and report adverse events and protocol deviations promptly.
• Maintain accurate and organized trial documentation, including essential regulatory documents.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a life science, nursing, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) or equivalent.
• In-depth knowledge of clinical trial processes, ICH-GCP , and regulatory guidelines.
• Experience in oncology clinical research is highly preferred.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities for effective site interaction.
