About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished Cloud Solutions Architect to design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructures in Portsmouth . You will be responsible for translating business requirements into comprehensive cloud solutions, guiding technical teams through implementation, and ensuring the optimal use of cloud services. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud technologies, a strategic mindset, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect cloud-based solutions on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP .
- Develop technical roadmaps and strategies for cloud adoption and migration.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams during implementation.
- Ensure solutions meet requirements for performance, security, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
- Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies and services.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective cloud architectures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience in IT, with a significant focus on cloud computing and architecture.
- Proven experience designing and deploying complex solutions on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong knowledge of microservices architecture , containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless computing.
- Expertise in cloud security principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
