About the Role
Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to lead the design and implementation of cloud-based solutions, offering remote working flexibility. This role is central to defining the technical vision and architecture for cloud adoption, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness. You will collaborate with various teams to understand business requirements and translate them into robust cloud strategies. Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Develop migration strategies for on-premises applications to the cloud.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership on cloud best practices and emerging technologies.
- Evaluate and recommend cloud services and tools to meet business and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and security teams to ensure successful implementation and operation of cloud solutions.
- Create comprehensive documentation for cloud architectures and strategies.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cloud Solutions Architect or in a similar senior cloud engineering role.
- In-depth knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience designing and deploying distributed systems and microservices architectures.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles, networking, and data management.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
