About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to lead the design and implementation of their cloud infrastructure, supporting operations in Bristol and remotely. You will be instrumental in defining the cloud strategy, architecting scalable and secure solutions, and guiding engineering teams through the adoption of cloud technologies. This role is crucial for ensuring our client leverages the full potential of cloud platforms to achieve business objectives. As a fully remote position, you'll collaborate with a global team, driving innovation and technical excellence from anywhere.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure cloud solutions on platforms like AWS , Azure, or GCP.
• Develop and maintain cloud architecture roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business goals and technological advancements.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development and operations teams on cloud best practices.
• Evaluate and recommend new cloud services and technologies to enhance performance, cost-efficiency, and security.
• Lead the migration of existing on-premises infrastructure and applications to the cloud.
• Develop and document architectural standards, patterns, and guidelines for cloud environments.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Cloud Solutions Architect or similar role, with a strong portfolio of cloud deployments.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS , Azure, or Google Cloud, including services for compute, storage, networking, and databases.
• Expertise in designing highly available, fault-tolerant, and disaster-resilient systems.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of security principles and best practices in cloud environments.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
