About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and visionary Cloud Solutions Architect to lead the design and implementation of their cloud strategy in Brighton . This role is critical in defining how our client leverages cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) to achieve business objectives, enhance scalability, and improve operational efficiency. You will work with senior stakeholders, engineering teams, and external partners to architect robust, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant cloud solutions on major cloud platforms.
- Evaluate and recommend cloud services and technologies to meet business and technical requirements.
- Develop comprehensive migration strategies for moving existing on-premises workloads to the cloud.
- Define and enforce cloud governance, security best practices, and cost management strategies.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure successful implementation and operation of cloud architectures.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on cloud best practices and emerging trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; Master's degree preferred.
- Extensive experience as a Cloud Architect or in a similar cloud design and strategy role.
- Deep expertise across multiple cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), including their services and ecosystems.
- Strong understanding of networking, security, databases, and application architectures in a cloud context.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with technical and non-technical audiences.
