Put your Siemens ShopMill programming skills to work in a busy engineering workshop, with overtime available and an immediate requirement for an experienced CNC Miller.

Theo James Recruitment is supporting an engineering business seeking a programmer who can take responsibility for writing programmes directly at the machine and work independently from the outset.

The role

Programme, set and operate CNC vertical machining centres using Siemens ShopMill.

*

Write programmes at the machine.

*

Apply your milling experience to work independently within the machine shop.

What you’ll bring

*

Strong CNC milling experience, including full Siemens ShopMill programming.

*

The ability to programme from scratch, rather than solely set and operate existing programmes.

*

Confidence working independently with minimal initial training.

*

A time-served background is preferred, although relevant practical programming experience is the priority.

What’s on offer

£17–£18 per hour.

*

A 39-hour working week.

*

Overtime paid at time and a half, with up to approximately eight additional hours currently available.

*
