Perm Twilight: Mon-Thurs 4pm-12am, Fri 12pm-6pm – (£21.76)

Perm Nights: Mon-Thurs 10pm-7.30am – (£21.01)

CNC Machinist

The Role

My client are expanding their team and are looking to hire a skilled CNC Turner or CNC Miller. You will be adopting their ‘right first time’ philosophy, being expected to achieve high standards of quality, with a focus on the continual improvement of working processes.

CNC Machinist

Main Responsibilities

• Set up tools onto CNC Machines

• Load materials onto CNC Machines.

• Measure components, through the use of measuring instruments (verniers, calipers, gauges, micrometers.

• Engage with continuous improvement initiatives.

• Completion of traceability and quality documentation.

CNC Machinist

The Candidate

• Time served precision engineer (or equivalent).

• Experience on CNC Turning or CNC Milling machinery.

• CNC controls – Mazak, Fanuc, Okuma (ideally).

• Must be able to set up, operate and adjust CNC machines.

• Prior experience of working with stainless steels.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
