CNC Turner / Programmer – Mazak (Precision Engineering)

Location: Hampshire Job type: Permanent, full-time Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 Hours: 37.5 hours per week (shift options available — see below)

The opportunity

ABS Talent is recruiting a CNC Turner / Programmer on behalf of a forward-thinking precision engineering company with a modern, well-equipped workshop running some of the latest Mazak machines. You'll programme and operate a variety of lathes, including machines with live tooling, producing precision components for specialist equipment and high-end scientific customers.

The role

• Programming and operating CNC lathes, including live-tooling machines

• Producing high-tolerance precision components to the highest standards

• Machining a variety of metals and plastics

• Working to tight tolerances with excellent attention to detail

• Maintaining a clean, organised workspace

About you

• Experienced CNC Turner

• Mazatrol experience essential

• Live-tooling experience desirable

• A highly accurate and efficient worker

• Experience machining a range of metals and plastics

• Experience of high-tolerance work

• Excellent attention to detail and pride in quality

Hours / shift patterns (37.5-hour week):

• Late shift: 13:30–22:15 Monday to Thursday, 13:30–18:00 Friday

• Early shift: 06:00–14:00 Monday to Friday
