About the Role

Our client is looking for a dynamic and commercially astute Commercial Accountant to join their finance team in Bristol . This role focuses on providing critical financial support and analysis to various business units, helping to drive profitability and strategic decision-making. You will partner with operational teams, offering insights into performance, costs, and investment opportunities, making this a highly visible and impactful position within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze financial performance of business units, identifying trends and providing actionable insights.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting processes for commercial operations.
• Develop financial models to evaluate new business opportunities and strategic initiatives.
• Prepare commercial reports and presentations for senior management.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to understand key business drivers.
• Monitor and manage pricing strategies and gross margin performance.

Requirements

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent with strong commercial acumen.
• Experience in financial analysis, business partnering, or commercial finance.
• Excellent analytical and modeling skills, with advanced Excel proficiency.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work effectively with non-finance stakeholders.
