Commercial Administration Assistant

Commercial Administrative Assistant | Sheffield | £26,500 | Permanent

The Opportunity

If you're looking for an opportunity to develop your career within a busy commercial environment while gaining exposure to multiple areas of a growing engineering business, this role offers genuine variety and responsibility from day one.

Supporting a specialist manufacturing and service organisation, you'll work closely with sales, service, purchasing and operational teams, helping to ensure customer enquiries, quotations, work orders and key business processes are managed efficiently. The role sits at the centre of day-to-day business activity, providing visibility across several departments and regular interaction with both customers and internal stakeholders.

Joining a close-knit team, you'll take ownership of a wide range of administrative activities, supporting everything from customer quotations and commercial documentation through to service administration, purchasing support and general office coordination. This is not a siloed administration role; you'll be involved in the wider operation of the business and trusted to manage important tasks independently.

This position offers the opportunity to build broad commercial and operational experience within a supportive SME environment, making it ideally suited to someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in delivering a high standard of work and is looking to develop a long-term career within business support, commercial administration or customer-facing operations.
