About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Appliance Engineer to provide essential maintenance and repair services in the Wolverhampton area. This role is critical for ensuring the smooth operation of commercial kitchens and hospitality businesses by maintaining their vital appliances. You will be responsible for diagnosing faults, performing repairs, and conducting routine maintenance on a variety of commercial-grade equipment. The successful candidate will be technically adept, customer-focused, and committed to delivering high-quality service to ensure client satisfaction and operational continuity.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair commercial catering equipment, including ovens, grills, fryers, and refrigeration units.
• Diagnose technical faults and identify necessary parts and repairs.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
• Ensure all work carried out meets manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
• Provide technical advice and support to clients on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Maintain accurate service reports and manage inventory of spare parts.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Commercial Appliance Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment, including electrical, gas, and refrigeration systems.
• Relevant qualifications in catering equipment repair or engineering.
• Ability to work independently and manage a schedule effectively across multiple client sites.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
