Commercial Architect

About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Commercial Architect to join their busy practice in Bristol . This role involves the design and management of a range of commercial projects, including offices, retail spaces, and mixed-use developments. You will be responsible for leading design teams, liaising with clients and stakeholders, and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and to a high standard, adhering to commercial client needs and UK planning regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded architect to work on significant projects within the vibrant South West England region.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design and development of commercial properties.
• Manage project delivery from conceptual design through to construction completion.
• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and tender packages for commercial projects.
• Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
• Ensure projects meet commercial objectives, design standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies for potential commercial developments.

Requirements

• RIBA Part III qualified or equivalent with proven experience in commercial architecture.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in designing and managing commercial building projects.
• Proficiency in Revit , AutoCAD, and relevant visualization software.
• Strong understanding of commercial property markets and client requirements.
• Knowledge of UK planning laws and building regulations applicable to commercial developments.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
