About the Role

Our client is seeking an accomplished Commercial Architect to lead design initiatives for a range of commercial projects in and around Leeds . This role demands a creative and technically adept professional who can deliver innovative and commercially viable architectural solutions. You will be responsible for the full design process, from initial concept development through to detailed construction documentation and site oversight. Working within a forward-thinking practice, you will collaborate with developers, businesses, and project teams to create impactful commercial spaces that meet the evolving needs of the market and enhance user experience, contributing significantly to the built environment of Leeds .

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and design innovative architectural solutions for commercial buildings, including offices, retail spaces, and mixed-use developments.
• Develop detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and tender packages.
• Collaborate with engineers, planning consultants, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Present design proposals and project updates to clients and stakeholders effectively.
• Ensure designs comply with all relevant planning regulations, building standards, and sustainability targets.
• Oversee site implementation and resolve design-related issues during construction.

Requirements

• Registered Architect with a strong portfolio of commercial projects.
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in architectural design.
• Proficiency in Revit , AutoCAD , and other relevant BIM and design software.
• Thorough understanding of commercial building codes, planning laws, and construction techniques.
• Excellent client management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and lead design teams.
