About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic Commercial Architect to join their expanding team in Sheffield , focusing on the design and delivery of innovative commercial and mixed-use developments. This role requires a proactive individual adept at managing projects from inception to completion, balancing client aspirations with practical design solutions and regulatory requirements. You will play a key role in shaping the commercial landscape, contributing to projects that drive economic growth and community development. This position offers significant autonomy and the opportunity to lead impactful projects in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design process for commercial and mixed-use projects, from concept to construction.
- Develop detailed architectural plans, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Liaise with clients, developers, and planning authorities to ensure project success and compliance.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other consultants to deliver integrated design solutions.
- Ensure all designs adhere to relevant building codes, standards, and sustainability targets for South Yorkshire .
- Manage project timelines and budgets effectively in a remote work environment.
Requirements
- Qualified Architect with proven experience in commercial and mixed-use development.
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in architectural practice.
- Proficiency in Revit , AutoCAD, and relevant 3D modeling and rendering software.
- Strong understanding of commercial real estate development and market trends.
- Excellent project management, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
