Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial clients, acting as the main point of contact.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking and proactive client engagement.
• Assess client needs and provide tailored financial solutions, including loans, lines of credit, and treasury services.
• Ensure compliance with all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and mentor the commercial banking team, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Monitor loan performance and manage risk within the assigned portfolio.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial banking, with a strong focus on business development and relationship management.
• Proven track record of successfully managing a commercial loan portfolio and achieving growth targets.
• In-depth knowledge of commercial lending products, credit analysis, and financial risk assessment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Established network within the business community in Oxfordshire is highly desirable.
