About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and relationship-driven Commercial Banking Manager to join their team in Reading . You will be instrumental in driving business development, assessing credit risk, and ensuring exceptional client service. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a portfolio of commercial banking clients, fostering strong, long-term relationships.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive networking and client engagement.
• Analyze client financial statements and assess credit risk for loan applications and other financial products.
• Structure and negotiate commercial loan agreements and other banking services.
• Ensure compliance with all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including credit analysts and product specialists, to deliver comprehensive solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial banking, relationship management, or credit analysis.
• Strong understanding of commercial lending principles, financial analysis, and credit risk assessment.
• Proven track record in business development and client relationship management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
