Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with commercial clients, acting as their trusted advisor.
- Identify client needs and proactively offer appropriate banking products and services, including loans, deposits, and cash management solutions.
- Analyze financial statements and creditworthiness to assess risk and structure appropriate credit facilities.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets for new business and portfolio growth within the Birmingham area.
- Collaborate with internal specialists in areas such as credit, treasury, and wealth management to deliver comprehensive solutions.
- Monitor client portfolios for potential risks and opportunities, ensuring compliance with all bank policies and regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial banking, relationship management, or a related sales role.
- Proven track record of successful client acquisition and portfolio management.
- Strong understanding of commercial credit analysis, financial statement analysis, and risk assessment.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
